Purchasing

I’m not saying I’m the most astute or shrewd shopper or that I made all the right decisions in what I ended up buying. I wouldn’t presume that much. I’m just listing the places I got my stuff.

Suffice to say, after researching and doing comparative pricing including shipping for months, there comes a point when you must commit.

Presuming that the pond is going to be of any significant size, you need a liner, you need a pump, you need a biofilter, you need a skimmer, plus a lot of plumbing supplies. If you can’t make them from things you buy from Lowe’s or Home Depot (my second and third homes), you have to buy them from somebody.

Don’t even think about roofing rubber or a conventional sump pump. Get the right stuff. Start with sound fundamentals.
